End of Season 2007/08 Newsletter

Foreword from Alan Blake:

The 2007/08 season was by far the most successful in the clubs history with 17 teams being regularly fielded making the club the largest in Devon.  Of these, 13 were youth teams for both boys and girls of all abilities with collective membership in excess of 300 players, thus making the club by far the town’s biggest provider of youth services for young people.  Our Disability Football Project in conjunction with two local schools has been praised by the F.A. as being exemplary and also being a model for others to follow.  All these junior teams rely on an army of unsung heroes by way of coaches and volunteers who take these super young people at least twice a week, giving them a focus and an active life where they learn to work hard, win or lose, and always behave in a sporting manner.

Foreword from Charlie Stephens:  Farewell Devon League, Hello the South West Peninsular!!
