Stoke Gabriel 1 Totnes & Dartington 0
T&D returned home from leaders Stoke GAbriel with nothing to show for a performance which, for large parts of the game, saw them have the upper hand in a cclosely contested local derby.  The visitors made one change from the previous week with Ryan O'Callaghan making his senior debut in the place of absentee defender Jo long.  T&D made the most of the early running playing an expansive game, passing through midfiels to release the speedy front pairing of Hare and Bowhay.  League leaders Stoke had little answer as T&D were first to the ball and quick to exploit the width of the pitch through midfielders Hopkins and Woodruff.  Hopkins still, searching for his first goal since re-joining T&D in December, was a constant threat throughout the first period.

Totnes & Dartington 3rds 0 Teignmouth Res. 3

After a storming victory the previous week T & D 3rds were never at the races against a strong
and experienced Teignmouth Reserves side. The hosts only managed three attempts on goal
with Sam Blake coming the closest when his lobbed volley rebounded back off the crossbar. In
contrast the visitors could have doubled their goal tally but were kept at bay by some timely
interventions by Tots man of the match, centrehalf Craig Downing. Dejected manager Dave
Jones was disappointed with his players lack of fighting spirit and has demanded they raise
the bar for the remainder of the season to stave off the looming threat of relegation.

Exeter Civil Service 2 Totnes & Dartington 1
After a week's break T&D travellled to reigning champions able to announce an unchanged side for just the second time this season. On a pitch which was tricky from the start and began increasingly difficult as the game progressed T&D made an impressive start. Moving the ball briskly forward through midfield thy found Hare in good form showing composure on the ball and the ability to retain posession in the final third.  His forward colleague Bowhay who was to threaten throughout the first half was a constant source of attack working across the front line to good effect.

Foxhole United 1 Totnes & Dartington 3rds 3

T & D 3rds were rewarded for their hard work, endeavor, application and will to win with a deserved
victory over rivals Foxhole United at Whiterock. The visitors suffered an early set back when the hosts
scored with a direct free kick but rallied to go in at half time with a 2-1 lead. The industrious Ollie
Abercrombie set up the first goal drilling in a cross to the near post for Richard Downing to deftly head
home past the advancing keeper. Then from a Sam Blake corner to the far post man of the match Matt
Carroll rose majestically like a salmon to fire home a bullet header into the top corner. The second
half was evenly contested and Tots had to defend resolutely at times and were indebted to new keeper
Mike Stockman who pulled off two point blank saves to thwart the hosts. The points were sealed with
15 minutes remaining when Sam Blake scored with a 25 yard direct free kick, expertly bending the ball
around the Foxhole wall into the bottom corner.

Plymouth Argyle Ladies 3 Totnes & Dartington Ladies 3

T & D Ladies came from behind twice to secure a well earned draw against Plymouth Argyle Ladies.
With several players unavailable manager Dave Jones had to draft in Reserve players Jess Armstrong,
Hannah Boyling and Sian Chapman who all played well at this higher level. In particular Boyling shone
by netting a brace of goals. Tots other goal was scored by Kelsey Taylor. Player of the match was
Maria Bintcliffe.

T&D 1 Budleigh Salterton 1
With sides around them on cup duty a win over Budleigh Salterton would have elevated the home side to their highest league position since the formation of the South West Peninsula League.  With Bowhay back from a one match suspension and Woodruff starting in the centre of defence in the place of unavailable Bishop manager Gayle was able to announce a strong syarting line up.
The hosts got off to the best possible start with Hare scoring as early as the second minute.  Following good work dopwn the right by Burt Hare ran between two defenders to reach the ball before before Wright in the visitors goal.  The effort was the strikers 16th of the season, his first since mid December to keep him in third place in the league scoring tables.
With this confidence boost bwehind them T&D continued to control trhe game's opening quarter but without a real threat on the "Robbinns" goal.  Hare bursting through to shoot over in the 15th minute and Bonner's deflrcted effort were the closest the hosts were to come to adding to their advantage. The visitors bouyed by T&D's inability to capitalise on their early superiority forced their way back into the match.  Clark and ri#over began to combine well in the midfield and veteran Williams, dropping into space behind his front line, began to look the more likely team to score.  In the run up to the half time period the visitors, like their opponents before them had by far the best of possesion and territort without forcing baker to make any telling saves.
